Job Purpose
To perform storekeeping activities for materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping in compliance with company procedures. The role supports operational requirements by maintaining accurate inventory and facilitating smooth material flow within the store.
Key Accountability Areas
Material Receiving
- Receive delivered materials, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper documentation for all received items.
Storage and Inventory Management
- Store materials in designated locations, following storage guidelines and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Assist in conducting periodic physical stock counts and reconciling differences.
Material Issuance
- Issue materials based on approved requests or job orders.
- Record material issuance in the system promptly and accurately.
- Ensure proper handling and packaging of items for issuance or transfer.
Housekeeping and Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage to materials.
- Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the supervisor.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date records of material transactions.
- Prepare daily or periodic reports on stock movement and availability.
- Support audit processes by providing required records and documentation.
Coordination and Support
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams for timely supply of materials.
- Support loading and unloading activities as required.

- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Diploma Degree in Business Administration or Any relevant field
