Job Details

Maplewave is a global leader in retail solutions for the telecommunications industry. We deliver innovative software and consulting services that help our clients achieve operational excellence and seamless customer experiences. Join our passionate, diverse team and be part of a company that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a Program Manager to serve as the single point of accountability for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of all Maplewave components within the Client New Stack Program. This role is funded by our client and is critical to ensuring the alignment of multiple delivery streams—including Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions, Inventory Management, and Business As Usual (BAU) change requests—with the overall program timeline and governance structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Program and Delivery Management Oversight

  • Strategic Planning: Oversee the development and maintenance of the implementation delivery plan for Maplewave solutions (POS, Inventory, Paperless, Insights, Engage), ensuring alignment with the overall client program timeline.
  • Resource Management: Manage and coordinate all Maplewave resources and activities required for the delivery of POS solutions, including dedicated BAU teams.
  • Progress Tracking & Reporting: Track progress against the implementation plan and provide timely, written weekly status reports to the PARTNER governance team, detailing achievements, activities, and dependencies.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, raise, and agree upon mitigation actions for risks and issues that may impact Maplewave activities or deliverables, maintaining a comprehensive Risk & Issue register.
  • Deliverables Management: Ensure all Maplewave deliverables are produced, support the approval processes with PARTNER and Client, and maintain a register of their status.

2. Stakeholder and Governance Management

  • Single Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery matters, coordinating issues and tasks with the Client’s PMO office and PARTNER’s Project Manager.
  • Program Participation: Actively participate in program management team meetings and governance forums.
  • Dependency Management: Identify and communicate all dependencies Maplewave has on PARTNER or Client activities or deliverables, maintaining a Dependencies register.
  • Change Management: Participate in the program change management processes, conduct impact assessments for change requests (CRs), and ensure Maplewave releases align with the PARTNER release plan.
  • Client Engagement: Ensure effective client and third-party engagement, particularly regarding requirements gathering and delivery timelines for BAU and project work.

3. Technical and Implementation Oversight

  • Solution Implementation: Oversee the implementation of POS solutions in non-production and production environments, ensuring they fulfill the requirements articulated in the approved End-to-End (E2E) Solution Design.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee Maplewave's testing activities (unit testing, system testing) and coordinate resources to support PARTNER and Client during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Configuration Data Management: Define the required business configuration data, support PARTNER in guiding Client on data preparation and gathering, and oversee the implementation of this data into the solution.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Ensure the necessary knowledge is transferred to Client staff to enable them to take over development and operations of the system upon project completion.

Skills

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager, preferably overseeing large-scale software implementation programs in the telecommunications sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-stream projects involving Point-of-Sale (POS) and Inventory Management systems.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PI delivery cadence).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of interfacing with client PMOs and C-level executives.
  • Experience working with international clients and managing remote/on-site teams.
  • Familiarity with governance structures, including RACI matrices, risk management procedures, and change control procedures.
  • Ability to provide qualified full-time on-site program and project management leadership, coordinating tasks with the client's PMO office.
