Job Qualifications – Sales & Marketing Engineer
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Additional training or certification in rotating equipment, or maintenance engineering is a plus.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or technical support related to rotating equipment services and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment such as:
- Pumps (centrifugal, positive displacement)
- Compressors (reciprocating, centrifugal, screw)
- Turbines
- Gearboxes
- Motors and generators
- Solid understanding of:
- Maintenance services and spare parts manufacturing basics.
Sales & Marketing Skills
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and propose technical service solutions.
- Experience in:
- Technical sales presentations
- Preparing commercial and technical proposals
- Cost estimation for services and maintenance contracts
- Strong negotiation, closing, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work with EPCs, OEMs, and end users in industrial sectors (oil & gas, power plants, manufacturing, cement, etc.).
