We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and manage the organization’s network and network security infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable networking environment, while providing technical leadership and guidance to the network team.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures. Oversee daily network operations, projects, and incident response activities. Act as the highest escalation point for complex network and security issues. Define, maintain, and document network architecture, standards, and procedures. Manage and configure firewalls, switches, and access points (Fortinet, Cisco, HP, Aruba). Conduct network risk assessments, audits, and lead security compliance initiatives (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR). Proactively propose enhancements and upgrades to support future scalability and business growth. Collaborate closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure aligned infrastructure strategies. Manage vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and service quality. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing technical team.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering, network security, or a similar role. Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments is a strong plus. Strong hands-on experience with:Network security solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, F5 BIG-IP, etc.) Firewalls, switches, routing protocols, and network design Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI) Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools Solid understanding of industry frameworks and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, ITIL).
Preferred Certifications:CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) CCNA / CCNPSecurity+, CEH, or equivalent certifications
