Job Description:A leading contracting company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join its project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, controlling resources and costs, and delivering high-quality analytical reports to ensure projects are executed in line with approved plans and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop baseline schedules using Primavera P6. Monitor project progress and analyze schedule and cost variances, recommending corrective actions. Control project resources and costs in alignment with approved plans. Prepare professional periodic reports and dashboards using Power BI. Coordinate with project teams, technical office, and procurement to ensure integrated planning. Perform schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation plans. Review and approve contractors’ and suppliers’ schedules. Support project management in decision-making related to scheduling and cost control. Ensure compliance with company planning standards and policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects. Proven experience in schedule development, progress monitoring, resource and cost control, and reporting. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. Strong experience in reporting and dashboard development using Power BI. At least 2 years of experience in Saudi Arabia with recognized contracting companies. Good knowledge of building and infrastructure projects. Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
