Location: Across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Project-Based / Multiple Locations) Job Purpose The EHS Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies to ensure a safe working environment for employees, subcontractors, customers, and the general public. The role involves identifying workplace hazards, investigating incidents, and continuously improving safety programs across projects. Key Responsibilities Identify, assess, and measure potential safety hazards in the workplace Develop, coordinate, and implement project-specific EHS programs Ensure compliance with EHS standards for employees, subcontractors, and public safety Conduct monthly EHS meetings and site inspections Prepare and manage 5-Start and other required EHS documentation Report project safety performance, KPIs, and future safety plans Conduct safety training and awareness programs Participate in pre-construction, progress, and coordination meetings Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions Perform any additional tasks assigned by the EHS Manager Skills & Competencies Technical & Functional Skills Strong computer and reporting skills In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards Experience handling safety investigations in complex industrial environments Managerial & Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong coordination and time management skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Interpersonal Skills Strong self-management and emotional control Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Professional, positive, and confidential work ethic Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Safety (any discipline) Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS experience NEBOSH IGC and/or OSHA certification (mandatory) IMS Lead Auditor certification (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001) preferred Preferable to have Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers
