Job Summary The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for the KSA entity(ies), ensuring compliance with Saudi tax, zakat, and regulatory requirements, and supporting monthly closing, audits, and management reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of Saudi GAAP / IFRS, ZATCA regulations, and practical experience with VAT, WHT, and corporate income tax. Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Reporting- Maintain full set of accounting records in compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulations- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing schedules- Ensure accuracy of GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, accruals, and provisions- Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and control accounts- Support preparation of management reports and financial analysis2. Tax & Regulatory Compliance (KSA Focus)- Prepare and file VAT returns (monthly / quarterly) with ZATCA- Support Withholding Tax (WHT) calculation, filing, and payment- Assist with Corporate Income Tax / Zakat computation and filings- Handle e-invoicing (FATOORA) compliance and monitoring- Coordinate with external tax advisors on assessments, audits, and queries3. Audit & External Coordination- Support external auditors during statutory and group audits- Prepare audit schedules, confirmations, and supporting documents- Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities when required4. Operational & System Support- Process invoices, expense claims, and payment requests in line with internal controls- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company approval policies- Maintain accounting records in ERP systems (e.g. Odoo)- Support internal controls, SOPs, and finance process improvements5. Ad-hoc & Group Support- Support HQ/group reporting requirements- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis when needed- Participate in finance projects, system migration, or restructuring activities Qualifications & Experience Education- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience- 3–6 years of accounting experience in KSA- Practical experience with VAT, WHT, Zakat / CIT- Experience in group structures, or shared service environments is preferred Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of Saudi tax and accounting regulations- Solid IFRS knowledge and hands-on accounting skills- High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities- Native Arabic, Good communication skills in English- Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
