SUMMARY Financial Analyst will be responsible for consolidation and analysis of financial data. He/She will work closely with the Finance Manager, and the Accounting Operations Manager for collecting, cleansing the financial data and conduct further analysis to support informed business decisions
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate’s credentials should focus on: Prepare Profit and loss statement and balance sheet from trial balance. Prepare cost center wise segment report of profit and loss statement. Prepare cashflow statement and cashflow projections. Prepare budgeting and forecasting. Budget variance analysis. Strong analyzing skills and advanced excel skill.
Prepare companywide and segment wise, income statement, balance sheet, cashflow projections, budgeting and analysis The Financial Analyst will consolidate and analyze financial, variance analyses and other financial figures considering company’s operations and business model;Develop MIS reports and periodic financial reports for management review meetings;Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, including scrutinizing balance sheets, Statement of income or loss and cash flow statements to identify trends and formulate forecasts. Developing financial models through benchmarking, scenario simulation, and process analysis to aid management in decision-making. Providing recommendations and actionable insights to optimize resources, improve profitability, and meet strategic business goals. Assisting with the development and monitoring of financial plans, budgets, and forecasting processes. Designing and implementing internal controls to ensure financial accuracy. Leading and supervising junior analysts or finance team members. Coordinating accounting activities with external auditors and preparing regulatory or statutory documents as needed. Monitoring and maintaining loan facilities and schedules. Advise the management on financial instruments held by the company. (Swaps, Deals…) Any other tasks as assigned by Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Management from recognized College/University;ACCA qualified;Applicant with CFA or CFA pursuing candidate shall be given preference
EXPERIENCE
Should be 3 to 5 years of experience in working as a financial analyst.
