Medical Device Sales Manager (Riyadh)

Job Purpose

The Medical Device Sales Manager is responsible for driving field-based sales activities across the Saudi medical device market, with a strong focus on clinician engagement, key opinion leader (KOL) development, and account growth. The role requires frequent on-site customer visits and independent field execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Execute day-to-day field sales activities across Riyadh and surrounding areas.
  • Drive revenue growth through direct engagement with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and manage key accounts to achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Clinical & KOL Engagement

  • Communicate medical device technology, clinical benefits, and value propositions clearly to physicians, surgeons, and clinical staff.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs and decision-makers.
  • Support product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and in-service trainings.

Product & Market Knowledge

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of medical devices, including how they work, who uses them, and their clinical efficacy.
  • Cover multiple medical device segments, including orthopedics, surgery, skincare, and laboratory testing equipment.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Track and manage sales KPIs, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales reporting.

Field Execution

  • Conduct frequent customer visits; this is a highly field-intensive role.
  • Travel daily within Riyadh and nearby regions to hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the medical device sector in Saudi Arabia.
  • Ability to engage confidently with doctors, surgeons, and KOLs using clinical and technical language.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Must own a car and hold a valid Saudi driving license (non-negotiable).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Preferred

  • Existing KOL and key account relationships in orthopedics, general surgery, cell and gene therapy, or advanced medical technologies.
  • Experience managing multiple product lines or device categories.
