About the role:

To implement effective cold chain system in his assigned area by taking up full accountability of depot cold store maintenance, carrying out repair & maintenance of shop fridges (in the market & depot premises) and by effectively mentoring and leading his team to achieve the department set objectives

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all necessary breakdown repairs on refrigeration depot coolstore assets.


• Conduct scheduled maintenance on all refrigeration depot coolstore equipment.


• Support the training and development of junior refrigeration technicians on depot coolstore systems and operations.


• Disassemble and clean refrigeration cabinets to ensure optimal performance.


• Diagnose, test, and troubleshoot refrigeration cabinets and refrigerated chassis in the marketplace.


• Execute repairs and replace components on refrigerated cabinets promptly to minimize downtime.


• Prepare and commission new refrigerated shop cabinets for operational use.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Refrigeration Technology or a related field


• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a refrigeration department


• Fluent in English
