Job Description – HVAC Supervisor
Location: Saudi Arabia
Job SummaryThe HVAC Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing all Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities at site. The role ensures that HVAC systems are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, Saudi standards, and international codes, while meeting quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities at site
Allocate manpower, tools, and materials to ensure smooth execution of HVAC works
Review HVAC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and schedules
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines (MEP/Civil/Electrical)
Ensure HVAC systems such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, piping, exhaust systems, and ventilation units are installed as per approved drawings
Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot HVAC issues, and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, HVAC standards, and project HSE requirements
Prepare daily reports, progress updates, material requisitions, and inspection records
Support testing, balancing, commissioning, and handover documentation
Guide, train, and motivate technicians and helpers on-site
Essential QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC-related discipline
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HVAC installation and supervision
Prior experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries preferred
Skills & Technical CompetenciesStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water systems, and air distribution
Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and layouts
Knowledge of Saudi Codes, ASHRAE standards, and HVAC best practices
Hands-on experience in site supervision and manpower handling
Familiarity with testing, balancing, and commissioning procedures
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation (MS Office)
Strong communication and coordination skills
