The Sales Manager represents the business in the marketplace and is the principal liaison and point of contact between the Operations and the 3rd Party Distributors (OTAs, STO’s, Wholesalers, PCOs, Travel Agents).
The Sales Manager takes responsibility for positioning the business and its services and offerings, in the marketplace with the intention of maximising occupancy at the highest possible rate.
This role works closely with the relevant Department Teams to ensure a coordinated effort between Sales, Reservations, and the Operations to ensure that interested parties are conducted on comprehensive site surveys in the organisation’s properties.
The role also ensures that 3rd Party Distributors, Consortia, OTAs and PCAs receive timely deliveries of up-to-date Service, Rate and Promotional/Campaign information for inclusion in their online and paper marketing materials.
