Position: Project Site Engineer (Installation - Building Materials) Location: Riyadh (Project Sites) Experience: Minimum 3 years Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary Seeking a Project Site Engineer to manage and supervise on-site installation works related to Expansion Joint Systems, Parking Accessories, and other specialized building materials. The role requires strong site coordination, technical understanding, and the ability to ensure projects are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor site installation works for: expansion joint systems; parking accessories (wheel stops, bollards, guards, signage, etc.); related architectural / finishing building materials Review shop drawings, method statements, and installation procedures prior to execution. Coordinate daily activities with: main contractors; consultants; site foremen and installation teams Ensure installation works comply with: approved drawings; technical specifications; project quality and safety standards Conduct site inspections and ensure proper material handling, storage, and installation. Prepare and submit: daily/weekly progress reports; inspection requests (IRs); as-built information when required Identify and resolve site issues, clashes, and technical challenges in coordination with the technical and project teams. Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of works. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies at all times. Project Assessment & cost forecasting Participate in project assessment during pre-execution stage, including: Review of BOQ, drawings, and technical scope Site conditions and access constraints Prepare project cost estimates and forecasts, including: material quantities; installation labour requirements; equipment, tools, and logistics Support the finance and project teams in: budget preparation; cost control and variance analysis; monitor actual vs forecasted costs during execution and report deviations. Assist in evaluating variation orders, additional works, and claims. Provide input on project feasibility, risks, and cost optimization opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years of site experience, preferably in: expansion joints; parking systems/accessories; architectural or building materials installation Strong knowledge of construction site operations and installation practices. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical details. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficient in MS Office; Auto CAD knowledge is an advantage.
