Microsoft Teams Phone & SBC Integration Consultant (Contract) Introduction We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Phone specialist to work on a contract basis for enterprise voice communication projects. The role involves supporting the design, implementation, integration, and delivery of Microsoft Teams Phone solutions, including Direct Routing and SBC-based architectures, to ensure reliable and high-quality enterprise voice services. Required Skills & Expertise Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone Strong expertise in Direct Routing implementation and configuration In-depth knowledge of Session Border Controllers (SBC) such as Audio Codes or Ribbon Solid understanding of VoIP and SIP protocols Experience integrating SIP Trunks with Microsoft Teams Knowledge of voice routing, dial plans, call policies, and number management Experience with Microsoft Teams–certified IP phones (Yealink, Poly, Audio Codes) Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (NAT, Firewall, QoS) Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Teams Admin Center Ability to deliver projects end-to-end with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
