Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgets.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor the delivery of materials, ensuring adherence to quality and timelines.
Draft, review, and manage contracts for procurement activities and project engagements.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage any disputes or changes in scope.
Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
Assist in the preparation of project schedules and resource allocation.
Participate in project meetings, providing updates on procurement status and challenges.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement processes and decisions.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and project progress for management review.
Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and stakeholders regarding procurement matters.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and project support within the construction industry.
Language Skills: Proficient in Arabic & English (both written and spoken).
Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management software and procurement tools.
Personal Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
