Senior Consultant - Strategic Investment (M&A)
Role Purpose:
To provide strategic advisory and expert analysis in support of investment-related decision-making across Elm. This role leverages deep industry knowledge and financial expertise to offer insights, evaluate opportunities, and recommend solutions that drive value, mitigate risks, and support the organization’s investment strategy and growth objectives

- Investment Opportunity Analysis

- Conduct financial and strategic analysis of potential investment opportunities.
- Evaluate market trends, business models, and risk factors to support decision-making.

- Strategic Advisory and Insight Development

- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support Elm’s investment strategy.
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

- Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
|
- Support due diligence processes for new investments and partnerships.
- Identify and assess financial, operational, and market risks.

- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
|
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and business units to gather inputs and align investment evaluations.
- Contribute to investment proposals and strategic discussions.

Job Specification:
Academic and professional qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is preferably
Years and Nature of Experience
• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in a related industry
