Senior Business Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Serves as a Business Manager on the staff of the Chief of Experience (CoX) and acts as an assistant to the Chief, among others; provides or coordinates business administrative and planning activities, such as estimating and scheduling, assets mgmt., and/or performance reporting, as required. Responsibilities vary as to size and type of assigned tasks. May lead some or all of the department’s business staff at different times for different purposes. Reports directly to: CoX.

Responsible, under the general direction of CoX, for various assigned tasks or projects in the department, for controlling and coordinating a variety of business-related activities as required for assigned projects and operations, such as: contract administration; requirements estimating, scheduling, and cost control; CAPEX and OPEX budgets and accountability assessments; various data management analysis reports and presentations; and other general administrative services, as required. May provide guidance to better achieve corporate strategic objectives with specific, quantifiable, and operationally feasible recommendations. May conduct and coordinate strategic, tactical, or other multi-functional performance enhancement initiatives within and across company departments. May participate in internal compliance audits and implement audit recommendations.

Develops, maintains, formats, analyzes, and presents operating data for management control or performance improvement purposes. May coordinate, facilitate, and supervise development and preparation of consolidated department Operating Plans, Accountability Reports, Business Plans, MIS Reports, KPI’s, support service requirement forecasts and other periodic performance-related reports for the Department and the Company, as required.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited University in Engineering, Construction Mgmt., Economics, Business Admin., Accounting or Financial Mgmt., or closely related major.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive international operations or project controls/business admin experience, including at least 3 years recently devoted to large commercial real estate development projects, with demonstrated progressive leadership and experience in operations budgets and cost controls, performance-improvement management, business risk mgmt., and related real-estate development predictive business management activities.

Proven ability to obtain KPI-driven bottom-line results that link personal performance improvements to corporate objectives in terms of productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, revenue, service-level, or other similarly quantifiable measures.

Proven ability to perform complex statistical and problem analyses while working under limited time constraints.

Proven ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English; spoken/written fluency in Arabic is a “plus.”

Must have excellent command of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PPT);SAP/Ariba, Access, Visio, PowerBI are a “plus.”
