Role Overview

We are expanding our international sales team and seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Middle East automotive sector. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding our footprint in the regional automotive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective accounts within the automotive industry.
  • Develop relationships with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to promote Intellias’ software services.
  • Lead prospecting, networking, and referral generation to drive business growth.
  • Participate in industry events, sales campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage client contracts, ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure and post-sales support.
  • Provide financial forecasting and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and manage escalation processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the automotive industry.
  • Proven success in selling onboard/offboard software services and solutions to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of the Middle East automotive ecosystem, including key market players, regulations, and investment cycles.
  • Expertise in digital automotive solutions, such as Navigation/Maps, Embedded Software, IVI/HMI, AD/ADAS, Connected Mobility, Backend/Cloud, and AI/ML.
  • Background in the outsourcing industry with knowledge of business models and regional markets.
  • Strong negotiation, prospect qualification, and deal closure skills.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing proposals, MSAs, and SOWs.
  • Established network within Middle Eastern OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers (highly preferred).
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, goal-driven approach.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s/Master’s/MBA is a plus).
