Job Purpose:
The role focuses on enhancing the organization's governance, risk management, and compliance practices. The aim is to support the business in becoming more stable and productive by ensuring that it consistently acts in the best interests of the organization, stakeholders, and shareholders.
Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Formulate policies and procedures for the projects division to meet legal and project requirements for top management. This includes establishing guidelines for delegation of authority, conflict of interest, code of ethics, and compliance with laws, while strengthening our governance and compliance program to align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Process Assessment: Ensure all policies and procedures provide a comprehensive overview of activities and processes across all Alfanar project business units. Assess current business processes by evaluating their maturity level and documentation status, identifying gaps and bottlenecks, and streamlining future processes. Ensure compliance with societal, regulatory, and industry standards for security and compliance.
- Governance Framework: Establish standardized practices to maintain a balanced governance framework for security and compliance, meeting necessary regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Program Management: Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate assigned governance programs/projects. Review relevant documents and reports, identify issues, propose corrective actions, liaise with stakeholders, and track follow-up actions.
- Business Case Definition: Collaborate with project teams and process owners to define necessary business cases, outline business outcomes (including current baselines and future objectives), and measure future processes using leading and lagging indicators linked to strategic key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role.
- English Language is a must.
