Position: Draftsman

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

Job Summary:

EPF Contracting and Construction Company is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and plans for construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to produce detailed layouts and ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical drawings, plans, and detailed layouts for construction and infrastructure projects using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects, site engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for structures, layouts, and systems as required by the project.
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and client requirements.
• Revise drawings and layouts based on feedback and ensure all modifications are documented.
• Maintain and organize all project-related design files, records, and documentation.
• Perform site visits (as needed) to gather relevant data and measurements for accurate designs.
• Provide support in resolving technical design issues during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all design aspects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a draftsman in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp).
• Strong knowledge of construction design standards, codes, and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical designs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certification in CAD design or drafting is an advantage.
