Strategic Planning General Manager

Responsibilities


  • Participates in formulating strategies, policies and objectives for Strategic Planning sector.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive technical plans and programs, both short and long term, to achieve stated company's objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share.
  • Manages the development of SAPTCO’s strategic plan and the business plan at the SAPTCO in line with developed guidelines and based on the organization’s strategic directions.
  • Cascades developed strategic plans and business plans to the appropriate departments at SAPTCO, monitors the capital budget administration forecast, obtains and documents feedback from Department heads accordingly.
  • Reviews situational analysis to determine strategic opportunities and threats to the achievement of SAPTCO strategic directions.
  • Provides Insight towards the needed capabilities required in order to implement strategic plans and communicates the same to the concerned Department Managers and the Human Resources Department.
  • Sets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of the new business units in SAPTCO and measure the achievements of targets and strategic goals, and taking preventive or corrective actions as required in sight of the group performance.
  • Identifies and develops business cases for SAPTCO and selects new expansion plans and projects in alignment with the strategy.
  • Monitors summary budget for large/risky projects.
  • Coordinates and directs projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of activities.
  • Performs other such roles and duties as may be reasonably required by direct manager and related to the job nature.


Leadership Tasks


  • Actively lead the acquisition and selection of potential new talent.
  • Integrates new joiners and provide sufficient on the job training.
  • Set team members goals and clarify expectations, reviews performance periodically, provides regular feedback and coaching and confront unsatisfactory behavior or performance.
  • Identify team members development needs and evaluate training results and its effectiveness on performance.
  • Manage team members work conditions such as leaves, working hours … etc.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business), Master is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the field of Strategic Planning, With at least 3 years at senior level.
  • Strategic Planning, Project Management, Risk Management.
