Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Engineer Site (Civil) to oversee and manage civil construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Experience in substation projects, along with previous work experience in the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia, will be an added advantage. Professional registration with an Engineering Council is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision:

• Oversee all civil construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure that work aligns with the project schedule.
• Conduct regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and completed work to maintain quality assurance.

1. Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of civil works with other disciplines, particularly for substation projects.
• Coordinate the delivery and usage of materials, equipment, and resources at the site.
• Address and resolve any design or technical issues arising during construction.

1. Substation Projects (Preferred):

• Manage civil works related to substation construction, such as foundations, structural components, and site preparation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations specific to substation projects.

1. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all site activities comply with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Liaise with local authorities and engineering councils to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

1. Health and Safety:

• Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure that all site workers adhere to safety protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to prevent accidents and injuries on-site.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of site activities, including work progress, material usage, and manpower.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, site logs, and inspection checklists to the project manager.
• Monitor project costs and provide input on budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience:
• 7–14 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, with a focus on site supervision and management.
• Experience in substation projects is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
• Certification:
• Must be registered with an Engineering Council (e.g., Saudi Council of Engineers or Pakistan Engineering Council).
