Compensation and Benefits Specialist

We looking for a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.


Responsibilities:


  • Process Compensation and Benefits for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
  • Maintain and update employee records related to Compensation and Benefits, including changes in status, hours worked, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports as required.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies, deductions, and benefits.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee benefits and compensation information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll procedures and policies.
  • Generate Compensation and Benefits reports for management and finance departments as needed.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in Compensation and Benefits processing or related roles.

Strong knowledge of Compensation and Benefits software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex).

Familiarity with relevant labor laws and payroll regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
