Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager, Commercial to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This leadership role will be responsible for driving the company’s commercial strategy, leading business development initiatives, and optimizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial management, strategic partnerships, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver sustainable business growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives. Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and product/service expansion.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and develop strategies for market penetration and competitive advantage.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and business partners. Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Lead negotiations for complex commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company while maintaining strong partner relationships. Oversee contract lifecycle from initial discussions to final execution and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze key commercial metrics (e.g., revenue, margins, profitability) and implement initiatives to improve financial performance. Provide regular commercial performance reports to senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to drive business objectives and ensure alignment across the organization.
- Stay abreast of local regulations and industry standards in Saudi Arabia, ensuring all commercial activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Drive innovation in commercial processes and business models to keep the company at the forefront of the industry. Lead initiatives aimed at expanding market share and customer base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in commercial management, business development, or sales leadership roles, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or senior leadership position.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage cross-functional collaboration, and drive performance through strategic planning and execution.
- Strong contract negotiation and closing skills, with a deep understanding of the commercial landscape and pricing strategies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and competitor activity to drive strategic decisions.
- Highly results-driven and capable of working under pressure.
- Strong communicator with the ability to present complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.
