Job Purpose:
The Senior Human Resource Operations Specialist is responsible for HR operations within the department. This role involves providing HR services such as data management, employee services, and the implementation of policies and procedures. It also ensures the efficient and effective delivery of HR services to support the organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Activities.
1-Operations Management
- Implementation of the Department’s policies, regulations, procedures, and controls so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are met while delivering high-quality and cost-effective results.
2-HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records within HR Information Systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Input, retrieve, and generate reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and administrative regulations related to managing employee operations (e.g., leave, attendance, etc.).
- Oversee the attendance and punctuality on the system to ensure adherence to official working hours and address any violations.
- Organize and issue tickets and oversee assignment processes such as work tasks, leave for non-Saudi employees, or contract terminations.
- Monitor, document, and approve leave requests in alignment with internal policies and procedures.
- Organize and oversee acting employees to leadership positions based on organizational needs.
- Handle secondment requests and coordinate with relevant parties in compliance with institutional policies.
- Review and enhance HR policies and procedures to ensure efficiency.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing accurate and timely information.
- Monitor employee violations and enforce disciplinary actions and penalties in line with approved regulations.
- Receive and review employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and professional resolution within a legal framework.
- Assist in coordinating HR services such as health programs, benefits, and other employee support services.
- Prepare and maintain HR documents, including administrative decisions, letters, and other HR-related correspondence.
- Execute employee resignation and termination procedures to ensure professional handling and compliance with applicable laws.
- Provide technical support to employees and managers in accessing and using HR systems.
- Perform other activities as and when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1- Knowledge and Experience
- 3 years or more of relevant experience in Human Resources Operations or any related field.
- Experience in human resources administration, operations, labor laws and regulations.
- Experience in system being used.
- Previous experience in government sector or regulatory bodies is preferred.
2-Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
