Job Scope
As a Craft Field Worker, you will be responsible for performing hands-on tasks related to construction and engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other field workers to ensure that all aspects of the job are executed according to specifications. This role requires physical stamina, technical skills, and the ability to work in diverse environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Execute construction tasks including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and general labor.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Report any issues or concerns regarding project progress or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Assist in training new employees as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in construction-related fields is preferred.
Proven experience as a craft worker or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills; ability to work well within a team environment.
Working Conditions
The Craft Field Worker position involves working outdoors on various job sites which may include exposure to varying weather conditions. Physical demands include lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and performing repetitive motions. Safety gear will be provided as necessary.
