Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and results-oriented Business Development Manager with 10-15 years of experience in business development, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity, and a minimum of 8 years in the construction sector. The successful candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and driving the company’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy: Create and execute business development strategies that align with the company's growth objectives in the construction industry.
Market Analysis: Perform market research to uncover emerging trends, new markets, and potential clients, including analyzing competitors.
Client Acquisition: Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, developers, and stakeholders to secure new projects and enhance the company’s market presence.
Sales Leadership: Guide and mentor the business development team to achieve sales goals and promote a culture of high performance.
Proposal Development: Supervise the development of high-quality proposals and presentations for prospective clients, ensuring alignment with client needs and the company's strengths.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements and foster long-term client partnerships.
Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to boost visibility and create strong business networks.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, project management, and finance, to ensure effective project execution.
Reporting & Analytics: Provide consistent updates on business development activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators to senior management.
Compliance: Ensure that all business development activities adhere to industry regulations and company standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
10-15 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven record of securing projects.
Strong understanding of construction market dynamics, including regulatory requirements, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Willingness to travel as necessary.
