Objective of the Job:
To coordinate and participate in organizing efforts related to risk management for business continuity, through involvement in identifying, analyzing, and assessing these types of risks, developing the necessary plans to address them, as well as proposing measures and disaster recovery plans at the level of the authority and the government sector. This includes taking the necessary actions to implement these measures and plans to ensure minimal negative impacts on related operations and to guarantee the ability to continue providing services effectively under all circumstances.
Technical and Specialized Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Coordination with the Risk Management Department: To identify, analyze, and assess risks related to business continuity in terms of likelihood and impact.
- Assistance in Developing Mitigation Measures: To help establish necessary measures to mitigate the potential impacts of risks associated with business continuity, which may include escalation, transfer, reduction of impact or likelihood, or acceptance, based on the analysis results and following the direct manager's guidance.
- Participation in Risk Tracking: To engage in tracking business continuity risks in the risk register, monitoring any changes related to their likelihood or impact, preparing necessary reports, and discussing them with the direct manager for any required actions.
- Coordination with the Governance Department: To identify instances of non-compliance related to business continuity, discuss them with the department, and analyze the causes to determine how to address them.
- Contribution to Development and Implementation of Corrective Plans: To assist in developing and executing corrective plans to address instances of non-compliance related to business continuity and prevent their recurrence, ensuring high levels of compliance with applicable regulations and standards, and enhancing transparency and accountability within the authority.
- Proposal of Disaster Recovery Measures: To put forward proposals related to disaster recovery measures and plans at the authority and government sector level, aiming to minimize losses, damages, and negative impacts, ensuring prompt response and efficient crisis management.
- Taking Required Actions During Disasters: To implement actions necessary in the event of disasters in accordance with previously prepared measures and plans, coordinating with relevant entities to minimize impact and recover swiftly and effectively.
- Identification of Critical Processes and Functions: To determine and monitor critical processes within the authority to ensure continuity in the provision of related services, thereby guaranteeing the continuity of operations.
- Implementation of Developed Plans and Measures: To apply developed plans, measures, and procedures to restore essential functions during a crisis or disaster, ensuring efficient and effective response to the disaster and achieving business continuity.
- Performing Other Related Tasks: To carry out any other tasks and responsibilities related to the work area as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the field.
