Job Announcement: Insurance Claims Accountant – Medical Company
A leading medical company is seeking to hire an Insurance Claims Accountant to join the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge of service codes, NAFIS system, and claim submission processes, including deadlines to avoid technical rejections.
• Review medical invoices and ensure they comply with the agreed policies with insurance companies.
• Prepare periodic reports on claims and outstanding receivables.
• Coordinate with related departments (e.g., Medical Insurance and Sales).
• Follow up on the company’s receivables from insurance companies and ensure timely collection.
• Handle disputes or inquiries related to insurance claims.
• Update financial data related to receivables and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and reconcile insurance receivables with insurance companies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance receivables, preferably in medical companies or hospitals.
• Strong understanding of medical insurance procedures and billing.
• Proficiency in modern accounting systems and software.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle financial data accurately and efficiently.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
