About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our fastener sales team. This role involves developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fastener industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and quotas.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to increase market share.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.

Understand customer needs and provide solutions tailored to their specific requirements.

Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

  • Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of our product range, including technical specifications, applications, and benefits.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to identify new product opportunities.

  • Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify target markets and customer segments.

Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.

Develop effective pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.

  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets.

Generate regular sales reports and analysis to track performance and identify trends.

Utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales pipeline.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management within the fastener industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
