Role Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our team at Sajilni. With 1-3 years of experience in the sales field in the event technology industry, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities through networking, cold calling and market research.
- Generate and qualify leads to create a robust sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients.
- Understand client needs and create tailored technical presentations that match their requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings to discuss product offerings and close sales deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with the product marketing, sales and operations teams providing feedback on market insights and opportunities to align with business objectives.
- Ensure high level of client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the IT industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing or any related field.
- Good background in events and SaaS products knowledge.
- Strong soft skills in communication, negotiation and problem solving.
- Sales acumen and a passion for achieving targets.
- Strong skills in networking and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Market analysis and trends knowledge is a plus.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong command of the English language.
