Will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with our construction projects. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget, schedule, and quality parameters while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for construction projects, evaluating potential risks related to scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, and environmental impact.
- Develop risk management plans and strategies to mitigate identified risks, collaborating closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, working closely with regulatory bodies as required.
- Prepare and present detailed risk reports, including risk registers, risk matrices, and mitigation plans, to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Lead crisis and emergency response efforts, developing and implementing emergency response plans for construction sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 15 years’ experience in risk management within the construction industry, with a solid understanding of construction processes and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and software applications.
