Service Advisor / Workshop Coordinator

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Prior experience in an automotive workshop or customer service role preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills for multitasking and managing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with customers, technicians, and suppliers.
  • Basic proficiency in billing and inventory management software.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Intake and Customer Communication:

  • Coordinate incoming vehicles, document client concerns, and perform initial assessments.
  • Communicate service timelines and progress updates to customers to ensure transparency.

Estimate Preparation and Approval:

  • Assess repair and maintenance needs, prepare detailed service estimates, and gain approval from clients before proceeding.

Task Assignment and Workflow Management:

  • Assign repair tasks to technicians based on expertise and availability, ensuring balanced and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor progress and troubleshoot any workflow issues to meet service deadlines.

Spare Parts Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory, maintain stock of essential spare parts, and liaise with suppliers for timely restocking.

Billing and Invoice Processing:

  • Prepare detailed billing statements, handle payment processing, and resolve any billing inquiries.

Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure all services meet quality standards and address any customer concerns to maintain high quality delivery
