Job Summary:
The Contracts Engineer is responsible for managing all aspects of contracts throughout the project lifecycle, from initial negotiation to final closeout. They play a key role in ensuring that contracts are compliant, efficient, and beneficial for all parties involved.
Job Responsibility:
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts, ensuring that terms and conditions are in the best interest of the company
- Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to address any contract-related issues or disputes
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract matters
- Assist in the development of new contract templates and processes to streamline operations
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to contract management
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Law, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment
- Experience in reviewing contracts from a technical perspective.
- Familiarity with construction-related procedures and regulations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex legal documents
- Familiarity with contract laws and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
