Digital Governance

Position Overview: The Digital Governance Expert is responsible for establishing and overseeing the framework of digital governance within the organization. This role ensures that digital initiatives align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices in technology management.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Framework Development:
  • Design and implement a digital governance framework that supports strategic objectives and ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  1. Policy and Procedure Management:
  • Develop, review, and maintain policies and procedures related to digital transformation and technology use.
  • Ensure policies are communicated effectively and adhered to across the organization.
  1. Control Requirements:
  • Prepare and document national control requirements for digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational and national standards.
  1. Performance Measurement:
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness and performance of digital governance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  1. Reporting and Presentations:
  • Create and deliver presentations and reports on digital governance status, challenges, and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with IT, compliance, and other departments to ensure an integrated approach to digital governance.
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs for staff on digital governance principles and practices.
  1. Technology Tools:
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  1. Internal Auditing:
  • Conduct internal audits of digital processes and initiatives to ensure compliance with established governance frameworks and policies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field.
  • Professional certification in ITIL, COBIT, or TOGAF.
  • +5 Proven experience in digital governance, including policy development and performance measurement.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
