Sales Executive (Logistics)

  • Location: Saudi Arabia (Travel within KSA as required)

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Business Development:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics services (e.g., freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution).
  • Generate leads through networking, cold-calling, and industry contacts.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients in retail, e-commerce, oil & gas, FMCG, and other growth sectors.
  • 2. Account Management:
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary contact for client inquiries, coordinating with operations for seamless service delivery.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional logistics solutions.
  • 3. Market Research & Sales Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes in Saudi logistics, customs, and shipping.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • 4. Payment Collection & Sales Reporting:
  • Ensure timely payment collection, working with finance to resolve billing issues.
  • Prepare regular sales reports on performance, market trends, and client feedback.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CILT, CSCP) are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in logistics or transportation, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
  • Proven success in meeting sales targets within logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of logistics, warehousing, customs clearance, and supply chain principles.
  • Experience in various logistics solutions like air/ocean freight, land transport, and cold chain logistics.
  • Key Skills:
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and culturally aware with a customer-centric approach.
  • Collaborative team player across departments like operations and finance.
  • Additional Considerations:
  • Saudi Nationals Preferred: Preference for local candidates per Saudi Vision 2030 and Saudization policies.
  • Travel: Frequent travel within Saudi Arabia for client meetings and site visits.
