Role Summary:
The facilities manager is responsible for the maintenance and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and agreeing on contracts and providers for services, including properties, parking, cleaning, catering, FM technology, and handling insurance plans and service contracts.
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations.
- Advising management on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Review utility consumption and strive to minimize costs.
- Supporting building projects and Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations /refurbishments.
- Helping businesses to relocate to new offices and to make decisions about leasing and Allocate office space according to needs.
- Drafting reports and making written recommendations and engineering assessments.
- Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers, etc.) and external contractors
Required Qualifications:
- BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, or relevant field.
- 5 - 8 Years of experience.
Required Skills:
- Strong verbal & written communication skills in both English & Arabic.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
