Job summary: The jobholder is responsible for supporting the Projects Program Manager in day-to-day project execution duties.
Main Responsibilities:
-Supporting the contract in completion of planned project activities.
-Monitor project progress and ensure all activities are completed in the required timeline.
-Ensure Contractor obtains all required approvals for all project documentation.
-Manage all project internal and external interfaces.
-Update and review progress on a weekly basis and highlight areas of concern that require Intervention.
-Prepare and issue weekly progress reports for projects.
-Prepare periodic slides for executive management presentation.
Project management support:
-Support Project Manager in project execution, field visits, and technical project review.
-Compile inputs to prepare project planning reports.
Retrofit implementation support:
-Support in supervising the ESCOs responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of projects.
-Support in the Project Manager in managing the relationship with the Government entity.
Post-retrofit support
-Support the supervision of O&M services provided.
-Support the Project Manager in ensuring that the performance guarantees are satisfied.
-Liaise with Finance / Legal to resolve any issues
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
-CEM / CMVP certification is preferred.
- SEC designer or installer solar certification is preferred.
Experience & Skills :
-Minimum of 4 years in a project management role with responsibility for the performance of contractors; preferably with retrofit experience within ESCO (or EPC) industry experience.
-Interpersonal: Professional proficiency of English required; fluency in Arabic is a must; effective communication skills (written and verbal); effective time management skills; ability to manage concurrent projects.
-Technical: Technical knowledge relating to building retrofits and potential savings
