About the Role:


Support in the design, planning, and implementation of Company strategy and business plans. This involves defining Company ’ strategic initiatives, leveraging market analysis insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making, and contributing to Company ’ sustainable long-term growth and success of the organization.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Strategic Planning and Alignment

Support in the formulation of the long-term vision and direction of Company , assisting with the translation of Company overall strategy into actionable plans to contribute to the realization of the organization’s objectives.

Analyze Company current business models and strategies, providing insight and strategic planning support to optimize and enhance the organization's overall performance and long-term success.

Collaborate with various departments to gain a holistic understanding of the entire organization, contributing to accurate and successful strategy planning across Company .

Execute the regular review and update of Company strategy based on internal and external assessments, ensuring alignment between strategic planning initiatives, the broader organizational goals, and departmental objectives.

Support in the cascading of organizational objectives to departmental objectives.

Act as a liaison between different business units to promote alignment and cohesion in strategic planning and execution.

Collaborate with the Finance department and Program Management unit to define budgets for strategic initiatives.

Strategic Analysis and Research

Conduct research and collect data on market trends and dynamics facilitating informed decision-making, organizational growth, and competitiveness across Company .

Analyze data and derive meaningful insights supporting the strategic planning initiatives of fostering a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, internal performance, and external factors impacting strategic planning and execution.

Execute strategic management techniques (e.g., SWOT analysis) and analysis to actively contribute to the comprehensive understanding of the organization's internal and external capabilities, benefitting from Company strengths, adequately addressing weaknesses, and mitigating threats specific to the grain industry.

Business Performance and Development

Assist with the performance evaluation of Company overall business strategy and plans by utilizing business performance data across various functions, departments, and projects to generate insights to inform decision-making.

Assess the impact of market and industry challenges and opportunities, implementing strategic actions approved by management to optimize Company performance.

Provide support with the forecasting and anticipation of business development challenges, providing insight and strategic support for proactive decision-making.

Identify future growth opportunities, contributing to setting clear development objectives for strategic growth in wheat importation.

Participate in scenario planning exercises to foresee potential future developments and challenges, offering strategic insights that facilitate proactive decision-making.

Clearly communicate and articulate Company ' strategic direction, objectives, initiatives and progress to both internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and dashboards for Company leadership, highlighting key insights, achievements, and challenges in coordination with the Program Management unit.


Market and Industry Analysis

Conduct holistic market and industry analyses, translating the data into actionable long-term strategies that align with the strategic objectives of Company .

Evaluate local and global trends impacting the wheat industry, providing a broader perspective for strategic decision-making across Company .

Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures

Provide inputs and implement policies, systems, and procedures for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.


Qualifications/Requirements


Diploma/Bachelor’s degree


A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
