JOB PURPOSE

To develop and manage Business Intelligence (BI) tools that ensure accurate reporting and support decision-making activities, based on defined business requirements. This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions, providing data-driven insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency

JOB TECHNICAL ACCOUNTIBLITES

Reports Development

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for BI reports and dashboards.
• Design, develop, and maintain functional dashboards and standard reports based on business requirements.
• Lead the development and implementation of BI reporting and ETL processes, ensuring the availability of reliable data for decision-making.
• Support the business analysis process by translating business requirements into data architecture and reporting solutions.
• Coordinate the transition of developed BI systems to the Technology Operations team, ensuring timely installation and availability.
• Ensure the performance, availability, and accuracy of enterprise data and BI environments.
• Oversee the implementation of configuration management and change controls for BI systems to ensure system efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and training to BI team members to enhance operational efficiency and ensure proper use of information systems.

Data Architecture and Platform Management

• Design and implement scalable data architectures, adhering to best practices and established guidelines.
• Administer BI and data management solutions, creating report templates and ensuring compliance with data quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain BI solutions, ensuring optimal performance and system availability.
• Manage real-time/near real-time data ingestion and transformation processes to support dynamic data environments.
• Optimize BI platform performance, handling complex data sets from multiple source

Big Data Integration

• Architect, design, and maintain big data platforms to handle large-scale data processing tasks.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance optimization of big data systems.
• Oversee the migration and transformation of large, complex data sets into data platforms.
• Develop scalable, reliable data pipelines to support real-time and batch processing

Analysis and Decision Support

• Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Develop BI tools and reports for performance monitoring and trend analysis.
• Provide support for data integration with various types of data sources.
• Design and build advanced reports, scorecards, metrics, and dashboards to meet business needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Experience 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence modules and tools

Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required
