Job Overview:
The Financial Controller - Projects will oversee the financial aspects of project management, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all projects. This role requires a deep understanding of project finance and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Financial Planning: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgets, providing insights to project managers.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely financial reports on project performance, highlighting variances and trends.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks associated with projects and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain financial controls specific to project management processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and teams to provide financial insights that support project execution.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and project accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s
- Additional Certificates :CMA/CPA/FMVA
- Strong knowledge of project finance principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
