Role Overview

As a Legal Specialist within Trojena, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel and support to our organization. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with local and international laws, and protecting the company's interests. This position requires a strong legal background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external partners.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The Legal Associates responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Legal Counsel: Provide expert legal advice and guidance to senior management and various departments on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, regulations, and compliance matters.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and legal requirements.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to labor laws, corporate governance, and data protection.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess legal risks associated with business decisions and propose strategies to mitigate those risks effectively.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee legal disputes, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes, while working closely with external legal counsel as necessary.
  • Corporate Governance: Assist in matters related to corporate governance, including the preparation of board materials, corporate filings, and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Legal Research: Stay updated on changes in local and international laws and regulations that may impact the company and provide proactive advice accordingly.
  • Contractual Relationships: Manage relationships with external legal advisors, government authorities, and regulatory bodies

Experience & Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in corporate law, contracts, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian legal system and regulations is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution; Master's degree or additional certifications is a plus
