Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
- Oversee all aspects of cake production, from recipe development and ingredient sourcing to baking, decorating, and packaging.
- Manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of orders and meeting customer deadlines.
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of cake production, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient supplies are available to meet production demands.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of bakers, decorators, and production assistants.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
- Delegate tasks effectively, provide clear instructions, and offer constructive feedback to team members.
- Address any employee issues or concerns promptly and fairly.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures, including ingredient testing and product sampling.
- Identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement new techniques, tools, or technologies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in cake production.
Cost Management:
- Manage production costs effectively, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Track and analyze production costs to identify areas for improvement.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain open and effective communication with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Collaborate with team members, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide regular updates and reports on production progress and performance.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Logistics, or related field
Experience
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in a food manufacturing company or related field.
- Experience in a cake factory or bakery environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management as well as Quality Control.
