Policy Development & Management Senior Specialist

  1. Job Purpose:

Assist to implementing and managing RCU’s policies and Operational Authorities Matrixes (OAMs) development life cycle within the existing governance of authorities' framework, regulatory requirements, and adopted standards.


2.Key Duties and Responsibilities:


Functional Responsibilities:

1-Help in engaging with policy and OAMs owners and stakeholders upon the initiation of a policy or an OAM.

2-Review and assess received policies and OAMs development requests and consider policy and OAMs options.

3-Assist in initiating engagement with potential policies and OAMs owners for confirming the ownership of policies, OAMs and their delivery timeline.

4-Contribute to executing policy and OAMs awareness, revision phases, and align with relevant stakeholders, maintain records documenting the stakeholders and their roles in the revision, obtain approvals, and publish the policies and OAMs.

5-Assist in establishing archiving records for all policies and OAMs drafts, approved policies and OAMs, and nulled ones, and all relating policies and OAMs development documents..

6-Support in guiding RCU departments, functions, teams in policy and OAM development.

7-Provide accurate, timely, continuous updates on the status of policies and OAMs in the pipeline.

8-Publish approved policies and OAMs across RCU.




4.Job Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Accounting or a related field..

5 years of relevant experience


Other Requirements:

Written and Oral proficiency of English language.

Excellent communication skills.
