Job Title: Control Panel Assembly and Manufacturing Technician
Job Summary:
The Control Panel Assembly and Manufacturing Technician is responsible for assembling and manufacturing electrical control panels according to customer requirements and specified technical drawings. This role requires a deep understanding of electronic and electrical components and the ability to read technical diagrams to ensure the panels are assembled efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install electronic and electrical components in control boxes according to specified technical drawings.
- Understand and follow technical diagrams and engineering drawings to complete the assembly accurately.
- Test control panels after assembly to ensure they function correctly according to the required standards.
- Perform necessary adjustments to the design or assembly based on client requirements or supervisor instructions.
- Conduct necessary maintenance on existing control panels or those that need repair.
- Record all assembly and repair operations in detailed logs to ensure traceability and quality.
- Work with design and sales teams to ensure that the panels meet customer requirements accurately.
- Monitor the inventory of components and tools required for assembly, ensuring they are always available, and submit supply requests when needed.
- Suggest and implement improvements to assembly methods to reduce production time and increase efficiency and quality.
- Review and update technical diagrams and documents to align with any modifications made during the assembly process.
- Ensure that all assembled control panels comply with national and international quality and safety standards.
- Help train new team members on assembly procedures and work techniques.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage the schedule effectively to ensure products are delivered on time.
- Communicate with customers when needed to clarify technical specifications or receive feedback on the final products.
- Guarantee the integration of various systems with the assembled control panels and ensure their compatibility with customer requirements.
Technical and Educational Qualifications:
- Education: Technical diploma or vocational certificate in a related field (such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Automation).
- Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing and assembling control panels or electrical systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and electronic components, with the ability to read technical diagrams.
