Vice President of Government Relations

Job Description:

Supervising and overseeing all lands, buildings, and real estate projects with government entities such as the Royal Court, municipalities, police, as well as the Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Justice, and all relevant government departments. Ensuring the lands are free from legal claims before purchase and monitoring issues that may arise after purchase, monitoring the development of lands and projects, and finally monitoring execution and delivery.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety of the land before purchase and monitoring any issues that may arise after purchase
  1. Evaluating potential properties for purchase to ensure their safety and compliance with building and legal standards.
  2. Reviewing technical, engineering, and legal reports related to properties to identify any potential risks.
  3. Tracking and monitoring any issues that arise after the purchase, such as structural or legal problems.
  4. Preparing periodic or daily reports on assigned tasks according to work requirements.
  5. Providing clients and internal stakeholders with advice regarding properties and necessary actions to ensure their safety.
  • Monitoring the development of lands and projects
  1. Monitoring project implementation plans in coordination with relevant government entities and ensuring adherence to timelines.
  2. Ensuring quality and compliance with local and international standards and regulations.


  • Monitoring execution and delivery
  1. Monitoring daily and weekly progress of work and ensuring its execution according to approved plans.
  2. Coordinating with all parties to complete delivery stages, including final inspection and issuance of necessary certificates.


Qualifications:

Minimum Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Land Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.

• A relevant master’s degree may be advantageous but is not always required

Optional certifications such as Certified Land Administrator (CLA), Certified Property Manager (CPM), or Rea1 Property Administrator (RPA) may be preferred.


Years of experience required:

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in land administration, real estate transactions, property management, working closely with the municipality and lands record regulatory departments, or a related field is required.
