Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead and manage complex vendor agreements and relationships across multiple commodities. This pivotal role ensures the consistent delivery of goods and services while proactively identifying and overcoming obstacles that could impact productivity.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and re-negotiate new and existing agreements, including RFIs and RFPs.
• Prepare RFx documents, communication plans, and contract awards.
• Collaborate with legal teams and business unit stakeholders to develop and execute negotiation strategies focused on optimal pricing, service, and quality.
• Continuously identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance, tracking objectives diligently.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including initiatives for supplier rationalization and segmentation.
• Proactively review supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual terms, and resolving issues through effective negotiation tactics.
• Evaluate vendor effectiveness, compliance, and return on investment (ROI) to optimize business outcomes.
• Regularly communicate with management to optimize the flow of goods and services impacting production.
• Supervise a purchasing team, delegating tasks across departments as required.
• Perform other job-related activities as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management and vendor management, preferably within the telecom or technology sector.

Technical Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of vendor management practices, including experience in reviewing RFPs.
