Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning and Management:
  • System Oversight: Lead the management and strategic direction of the Maximo CAFM system, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and implement a roadmap for Maximo system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
  1. System Implementation and Optimization:
  • Deployment: Oversee the deployment and configuration of Maximo to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize the system to improve performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of CAFM professionals, including system administrators, analysts, and support staff.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that users are proficient in Maximo and can effectively utilize its features.
  1. Project Management:
  • Initiatives: Manage and oversee Maximo-related projects, including system upgrades, new module implementations, and process improvements.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with IT, facilities management, and other departments to ensure successful project execution and system integration.
  1. Data Management and Reporting:
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within the Maximo system.
  • Reporting: Develop and generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset management, facilities operations, and maintenance performance.
  1. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
  • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with IBM and other third-party vendors, including negotiating contracts and service agreements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and ensure the Maximo system supports their requirements.

  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Maximo Knowledge: Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including configuration, administration, and customization.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of facilities management and asset management principles.

  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including mentoring and performance management.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects and initiatives related to CAFM systems.
  1. Analytical Skills:
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze system data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address system issues and optimize performance.
  1. Communication:
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, vendors, and team members.
  • Training Skills: Ability to develop and deliver training programs for system users.
  1. Organizational Skills:
  • Planning: Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in system configuration, data management, and reporting.
  1. Educational Background:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or Maximo are a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as IBM Maximo certification, PMP (Project Management Professional), or Six Sigma are advantageous.
