Bid Specialist

Role Summary:

The Bid Specialist will provide bid management support to the Head of Business Development, coordinating all aspects of the bidding process: identification of bidding opportunities, development and oversight of the bid management plan, research to inform bid content, consultation with stakeholders, assist in bid writing, bid submission, and provide assistance with contracting successful bids.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching bid submission opportunities for SAFE.
  • Assist in searching and recording new opportunities in KSA in line with company and business plan criteria.
  • Coordinating all aspects of the bidding process.
  • Assist in the initiation of continual improvements to the bid process and procedures.
  • Liaising with the wider bid team on all aspects of bid submissions, tenders, and other marketing materials.
  • Provide support in the assessment of bids and tenders.
  • Management of a content library with up-to-date certificates and standard content and ensure appropriate filing and distribution to the tender team.
  • Organize, co-ordinate and attend meetings as required within each bid’s process.

Education, Certifications and Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.

Required skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy: MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem solving.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
