Job Title: Operation Manager - Port / Vessel / Transshipment

Experience- 5 - 10 Yrs

Job Location - Saudi Arabia

Roles and Responsibilities

-Allocate resources to ensure smooth running of port / Vessel / transshipment operations.

-Analyse expenditure and submit reports to management.

-Brief port supervisors on vessel loading and discharge standard operating procedures.

- Develop vessel loading and discharge plans

- Monitor and review manpower planning processes

- Oversee daily vessel operations and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.

- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure vessels are in optimal condition.

- Manage logistics and supply chain activities related to vessel operations.

- Ensure the safety and security of all vessel operations.

- Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits of vessels.

-Handle emergency situations and develop contingency plans.

- Prepare transshipments Load-list based on transshipments discharge data from system and submit for review and approval.

- Update respective ports about delay/advance arrival of any shipment

- Follow up with claims department regarding status of the damaged container to ensure timely loading
